Vulnerability assessment & penetration testing (VAPT)

Find the weaknesses before an attacker does.

Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing with risk-ranked findings, fix guidance and a retest.

Why teams call us

Problems this solves

  • 01

Customers ask for a security report

Enterprise buyers and partners increasingly ask for a recent penetration test before they sign.

  • 02

Scanner output nobody can act on

Automated scans produce long lists of findings without context, priority or proof.

  • 03

A regulator or auditor expects testing

Frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS and sector regulators expect regular security testing.

  • 04

    A release is coming

A new app, a major feature or a cloud move changes your attack surface before anyone has tested it.

Our approach

A vulnerability assessment finds and lists weaknesses. A penetration test goes further: a tester tries to exploit them, chains them together and shows what an attacker could actually reach. We do both, in one engagement, so you get breadth and proof.

Testing follows recognised methods (OWASP Testing Guide, OWASP ASVS, PTES and NIST SP 800-115), with manual work guided by tools rather than replaced by them. Every finding comes with evidence, a risk rating, business impact and clear steps to fix it, and fixed issues are retested.

Cybersecurity

What is included

  • Web application testing

Authentication, session handling, access control, injection and business-logic flaws.

  • API testing

REST and GraphQL APIs tested against the OWASP API Security Top 10.

  • Network testing

External and internal network testing, exposed services and segmentation checks.

  • Cloud configuration review

AWS, Azure and Google Cloud identity, storage, network and logging settings.

  • Mobile app testing

Android and iOS apps, local data storage and the APIs they call.

  • Retest and closure

Fixed findings retested, with a closure report for your records.

What you receive

  • Written scope and authorisation before testing
  • Executive summary for management
  • Technical report with evidence for each finding
  • Risk rating (CVSS) and business impact per finding
  • Step-by-step remediation guidance
  • Retest of fixed findings
  • Closure report or letter for customers and auditors
  • Debrief call with your team

How an engagement runs

Every engagement starts with a signed agreement and an advance payment as set out in your proposal. Work begins once both are complete.

  1. 01

    Scope and authorise

Targets, test type (black, grey or white box), windows and rules of engagement agreed in writing.

  2. 02

    Test

Reconnaissance, automated discovery and manual exploitation within the agreed scope.

  3. 03

    Report

Risk-ranked findings with evidence, impact and fix guidance, walked through on a call.

  4. 04

    Retest

Your fixes are retested and a closure report is issued.

Frequently asked questions

Can't find your answer? Ask us

How long does a VAPT take?
It depends on scope: the number of applications, user roles, API endpoints or IP addresses. After scoping we give a fixed timeline in the proposal.
Will testing disrupt our live systems?
Tests are planned to avoid disruption: agreed windows, no denial-of-service and no destructive actions without written approval, and named contacts on both sides during testing.
Do you need access to our source code?
Not necessarily. Black-box tests use no inside information; grey-box tests use test accounts; white-box tests include code or configuration review and usually find more in the same time.
Are you CERT-In empanelled?
Some Indian regulated entities must use a CERT-In empanelled auditor for specific audits. We confirm at scoping whether your requirement needs one, and we do not claim an empanelment we do not hold.
How often should we test?
Commonly at least once a year and after significant changes, such as a new release, a new integration or a cloud migration. Your regulator or customers may set their own frequency.
