Before you book

Common questions about appointments.

If you’re unsure whether it makes sense to book a call yet, these answers may help.

Is the appointment really free?

Yes. The first call is completely free and obligation-free. It’s meant to understand if there is a genuine fit and to give you clarity on what working together would look like. If we’re not the right partner, we’ll say so honestly.

What should I prepare before the call?

Basic context is enough: what you’re trying to build or fix, your timeline, rough budget and who’s involved on your side. Any existing documents (PRDs, designs, architecture diagrams) or links (live product, Figma) will make the conversation more concrete.

Can we sign an NDA before we talk?

Yes. If you need an NDA in place, mention it in the notes when booking or reply to our confirmation email. We’re used to working with sensitive roadmaps and confidential information for startups and enterprises.

What happens after the call?

If there’s a mutual fit, we’ll usually follow up with a short summary: understood scope, assumptions, suggested approach, rough timelines and next steps. For larger or more complex projects, this might include a proposal outline or pilot suggestion.

Want to move from “thinking about it” to a concrete plan?

A short, honest conversation can save weeks of guessing. Pick a slot on Calendly, and we’ll help you map a realistic path — whether you end up working with VD Hosts or not.

Prefer writing? You can always email us at contact@vdhosts.com with your context instead of booking a call.
